Blocify was founded in Den Haag in 2021 by engineers who were tired of agency work that produced beautiful slides and brittle software. The fix turned out to be structural rather than technical: stop renting hours, start building teams.
Today we are 74 specialists across eight disciplines and nine practices — custom software, mobile, e-commerce, customer experience, applied AI, blockchain, design, security and the team-building practice that underwrites all of them.
Commercial and partnerships run from Den Haag. Engineering, design and our own customer-experience floor run from Prishtina. Everyone is on our payroll, on CET, working for one client at a time.
Principles
These are not values on a wall. Each one appears in the contract, and we turn down work that would force us to break them.
You interview every person before they join, and the same faces stay to the end. There is no resource pool behind the curtain and no rotation to balance our utilisation.
Every specialist — engineer, designer or support agent — is employed by us. No brokered CVs, no third parties in the delivery chain, one standard across all nine practices.
Fixed scope, fixed team or agreed service levels. Written before signature, invoiced against milestones, with change requests priced individually rather than assumed.
Tests that mean something, infrastructure as code, evaluation suites for AI, contractual service levels for operations. The version we hand over is the version that runs.
Documentation, shadowing and a transfer window are scoped on day one. After twelve months any specialist can convert to your payroll at no fee — roughly half of them do.
Most clients keep us for years across more than one practice. Our average engagement outlives the project that started it, which is the only endorsement worth quoting.
Timeline
Two engineers and a designer, building React and Solidity products for Dutch founders.
The first eight engineers hired into a permanent delivery centre, not a contractor network.
Three new disciplines added as clients asked us to own more of the product surface.
A dedicated multilingual support operation in Prishtina — our first non-engineering practice.

Besarta is the first email you write and the first person you meet. She and the rest of the leadership stay on the engagement after the contract is signed.

Managing Director
Verantwortet die kaufmännische Seite jedes Projekts: wie Leistungen zugeschnitten, bepreist und vertraglich geregelt werden. Sitzt im ersten Gespräch mit dabei und bleibt über die gesamte Zusammenarbeit erreichbar.
Chief Operating Officer
Verantwortlich für Tempo, Qualität und den wöchentlichen Statusbericht über alle laufenden Projekte. Führt Besetzung und Rekrutierungspipeline, die ein benanntes Team in drei Wochen aufstellt.
Chief Technology Officer
Verantwortet den technischen Standard über alle Projekte hinweg und gibt die Architektur jedes neuen Vorhabens persönlich frei. Führt die Interviewrunde, die jede Entwicklerin und jeder Entwickler bei Blocify durchlaufen hat.
